Car Hire Agreement
All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle collection. This agreement outlines the terms, conditions, insurance information, applicable charges, and your responsibilities for the rental. In case of any discrepancy between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

Rental Vehicle Requirements

Booking and Payment Process
- Reservations can be made via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Sheffield office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment along with a security deposit is generally required upon vehicle collection. All pricing is listed in British Pounds (£) and includes VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, with secure processing through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Sheffield, it is your responsibility to conduct a thorough inspection and report any pre-existing damage without delay. We will complete and sign a vehicle condition report to document this. The vehicle should be returned in the same state as it was received, accounting for standard wear and tear. 7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses of rental vehicle:
- Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is prohibited. This includes racing, off-roading, or engaging in any risky behavior. Transporting hazardous materials is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is strictly forbidden. Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is unacceptable. The vehicle should not be used for purposes it was not intended for, nor should passenger or weight limits be exceeded. Additionally, driving outside the designated geographical area without prior approval is not permitted.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by law in England and Wales, Car Hire Sheffield will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the rental amount paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to claims related to death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
